A meeting to commemorate the 90-year anniversaries of the Geophysical Institute, University of Bergen, Norway and the Norwegian Geophysical Society. The aim of the conference is to provide an overview of ongoing and emerging monitoring programmes; recent advances in process studies and understanding, and new opportunities for prediction based on state-of-the-art regional or general circulation models of the high-latitude systems.
