Search and find information
There are several ways to find information on the site.
- Use the links on the left to browse the site.
- Click the "Navigation" header to see a site map with a directory / folder tree structure with information.
- Type a specific search term into the seach facility on the top right.
Adding a news article to the news section
Registered members of the site can add new articles to the site in order to make announcements or publish news they may have themselves directly onto the site.
- Login to the site (or register by clicking join).
- Once you have logged in, you will see a link "Add..." below the news table on the right of the screen.
- Clicking "Add...", will take you to a form which you need to fill in to create a news item.Â
- Once you have filled out the form, click "Submit" at the bottom of the page.
- This will allow you to preview the news article. Now click the "State" of the article and select "Submit". Your article will now be send to us for approval before being published online.
If the announcement is of a commercial nature, please ensure that it is on topic and thus on or related to Antarctica.
Adding a message to the message board
Registered members of the site can add messages to the message board to post questions or voice oppinions. Information that is not on or related to Antarctica will NOT be published and deleted from the site.
Adding an event to the event calendar
If you are organising or know of an Antarctic event, email the details to the webmaster. Details should include event name, a short description, event start and end date, location, organisers name and email address and any additional information about the event.
Adding educational information or other content
If you would like to submit other forms of content (educational information, photographs, images etc, please email it to the webmaster.
